QUADRI-TURN

The Quadri-Turn series represents Buffoli Transfer’s new generation of flexible four-spindle CNC turning machines, designed to combine the productivity of transfer solutions with the versatility of high-end turning centers.

Both QT-50 and QT-100 share the same fully integrated architecture, featuring two pairs of opposed spindles, servo-controlled turrets and an automatic loading system capable of feeding the machine either from bar or from pre-formed parts such as castings and forgings. The QT-50 is optimized for bar machining up to Ø 50 mm, while the QT-100 extends the working range up to Ø 100 mm. In both configurations, the opposed spindle layout enables direct workpiece transfer and complete machining in two clamping positions within a single compact platform.

The four-spindle configuration allows simultaneous or alternating machining of two parts, ensuring high machine utilization and reduced cycle times. Thanks to its advanced multi-axis kinematics and integrated process flow, Quadri-Turn delivers a high level of automation and operational autonomy comparable to transfer-type solutions, while maintaining greater flexibility and a more compact footprint.
